No, you do not need to run / walk to participate in the event. This is a fun event, you are always welcome to join, support the cause and encourage the participants.
PayPal account is not required to register. When registrants click on “Submit” button, there is an option to use a credit or debit card.
There is no registration deadline. You can register up to the week of the run.
Absolutely! You can register on the day of the run at the park or online through our website.
However, we encourage everybody to register early and take advantage of early registration pricing.

There is nothing else needed once you have received your confirmation for registration. Choose a day of your liking to run between Oct 1th thru Oct 24th. Don’t forget to submit your pictures to be entered in a cool prize drawing.

Hellyer Park has plenty of parking for all participants in the Buena Vista and Cottonwood group area parking lots.
Parking is $6. Please bring $6 cash in order to speed up the process and allow everyone ample time to get to the main area and check in.

There will be medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in men, women and youth categories.

Yes, there will be a designated location near the check-in area where you can leave your non-valuable items for storage during the run.

Yes, but please keep the volume low enough so that you can hear other runners or instructions from event personnel.
We also ask that you remove them when you reach the Aid Station and in a large crowd. Above all, safety first!

Yes. This event is designed to be family friendly, so strollers are permitted on the course.
Safety must always come first. Please be cautious with your stroller, so as not to trip or collide with other participants.
No. The race will take place, rain or shine. We recommend people to check the weather beforehand and dress appropriately.
No. We are raising funds to support Omar’s Dream Program. We presume that, by having visited our site and registering, you are here for the same purpose.
All of Omar’s Dream Run proceeds will go to fund Omar’s Dream Program.
