No, you do not need to run / walk to participate in the event. This is a fun event, you are always welcome to join, support the cause and encourage the participants.

Hellyer Park has plenty of parking for all participants in the Buena Vista and Cottonwood group area parking lots.
Parking is $6. Please bring $6 cash in order to speed up the process and allow everyone ample time to get to the main area and check in.
Yes. Bathrooms are located near the start/finish area.
There is facility for accessible bathrooms as well.

There will be medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in men, women and youth categories.
In addition, we will have post-run snacks and ice-cream for all participants!
Yes, there will be a designated area near the check-in station where you can store non-valuable items during the run.
Please bring a bag to hold your belongings, and do not include any valuables, as we cannot take responsibility for lost or stolen items.

Yes, but please keep the volume low enough so that you can hear other runners or instructions from event personnel.
We also ask that you remove them when you reach the Aid Station and in a large crowd. Above all, safety first!
Yes. This event is designed to be family friendly, so strollers are permitted on the course.
Safety must always come first. Please be cautious with your stroller, so as not to trip or collide with other participants.
No. The race will take place, rain or shine. We recommend people to check the weather beforehand and dress appropriately.
No. We are raising funds to support Omar’s Dream Program. We presume that, by having visited our site and registering, you are here for the same purpose.
